Poetic Bunker at the Venice Biennale in 2001, Light Bunker at the Living Theatre in New York in 2006, Anatomic Bunker today at the Nicelli airport at Venice Lido. The idea of the bunker springs from the desire to propose, through the metaphor of war, a reflection on man, on his need for identity and on the constrictions of freedom. The last dream of Eva Braun is an installation dedicated to the human face of every being: to the last words of Eva Braun in the Füehrerbunker, to the looks, the gestures, the words of an extreme love. Poetry, as Pasternak wrote, joins those who are apart. In this inner life, distance no longer exists. Words are things, things are words, the real is unreal, the unreal is the universe of everyday life.By playing on words like limit, the bunker itself becomes a sculpture of life, an extreme “housing unit”.
